Payment issues in LCC canteen
LCC Canteen is experiencing problems with card payments due to the IT network issue affecting all UAL sites.
All forms of card payment (contactless, apple pay and chip and pin) are still being accepted, however each transaction takes 2-3 minutes to process, causing long queues at the till.
To reduce wait time for students and staff:
Use cash, if possible
As cash transactions are running at normal speed, one till will allocated for cash payments and the other, card only.
Pay first, then collect food
LCC Canteen is operating a ‘pay first’ system until the network issue has been resolved.
1) Browse food options
2) Pay at till
3) Collect food from the catering counters afterwards to ensure food remains hot and fresh.
