It’s hard to find information sometimes and at this busy time of year we’re here to help you with the questions you’ve asked most this term.
With everything from ‘what do I have to do for Graduation?’ to reapplying for Visas and more. The team from the Information Centre have answered your questions and have the best contact for your further questions!

  1. Graduation? 

Have I been invited?
You have been sent an invite to your UAL email. Students who’ve graduated have been sent an invite to their external/personal email.

Where is Graduation?
Royal Festival Hall – Southbank Centre, Belvedere Rd, London, SE1 8XX

When is the deadline for hiring an academic robe?
30 June 2018 – All students must wear the official University of the Arts London academic robes provided by Ede and Ravenscroft. After this date you’ll be subject to a late booking fee and there may not be a robe available in your size.

  1. How do I reapply for student finance?

To reapply for finance from the Student Loans Company you can apply online at www.gov.uk/studentfinance. Continuing students need to reapply for their student finance for academic year 2018/19. Apply now to make sure your money is ready for the start of your course.

  1. How to extend visas and vacation working hours?

International students can contact Student Services for advice on how to extend visas and vacation working hours.

  1. How do I submit an Extenuating Circumstances claim?

Complete your form, following the guidlines of the claim and submit your completed form to ecclaims@lcc.arts.ac.uk. Extenuating Circumstances (ECs) are defined as circumstances which are unexpected, significantly disruptive and beyond your control, and which may have affected your ability to meet an assessment deadline or the level of your performance at assessment. If you are having difficulties, you may be able to submit an Extenuating Circumstances claim. Find more information including the form, guidance and more on the UAL website or visit the Information Centre to see On Course Support.

  1. Can I bring in guests? 

Yes, you will need to ask a staff member who knows you to add the visitors name to the LCC Reception Calendar, without the visitors name on the calendar entry will be denied.
