Join the #OneLess Design Fellowship and help to solve London’s single-use plastic problem

If you are a designer, innovator, urbanist or architect looking to use your skills to solve London’s single-use plastic problem, apply to become a #OneLess Design Fellow today! Over the coming months, up to 25 multi-disciplinary design fellows will be developing and designing innovative solutions to help ramp-up London’s refill revolution and eliminate plastic bottled water.

As a #OneLess Design Fellow you would:

● Work on one of five real-life plastic ‘challenges’ being experienced by a venue, event, retailer or place in London;

● Work alongside innovation and plastic experts to design new solutions; including new products, new services, or new business models to help organisations and businesses eliminate single-use plastic water bottles;

● Receive coaching and mentoring during a one-week summer school, as well as through individual sessions;

● Gain exposure and increased profile through exhibiting as part of the London Design Festival 2018 and design media, with further prizes to be announced.

The application process is open now! Apply online now to become a Fellow – we’re looking for extraordinary people so tell us about the skills, experience and motivation you would bring to this.

If you are selected, you would join a summer school from 16 – 20 July (please note partial presence can’t be accommodated) where you’ll start developing innovative ideas, concepts and prototypes that go some way towards solving the plastic challenges put before you.

The solutions developed during the summer school will be widely shared and showcased during London Design Festival in September 2018. The best concepts and prototypes will be tested during a period of trialling and monitoring.
