100 years of votes for women: Opportunity to support artist Lucy Orta on craft/making & public artwork project

Artist Lucy Orta and Social Responsibility at LCF are working with a women’s prison to collaboratively produce an expressive banner with female inmates as part of a major nationwide artwork, PROCESSIONS.

Produced by Artichoke, the UK’s largest producer of art in the public realm (including the recent Lumiere festival), PROCESSIONS is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take part in a mass participation artwork to celebrate one hundred years of votes for women.

We are looking for students across all courses to volunteer to support Lucy and participants with the making process, and to represent these women at the public event on Sunday 10 June 2018.

For more information on what this role will involve, or to apply to take part, please complete the online form at bit.ly/Processions.

Deadline for applications:  Sunday 18 February 2018
